Dave Fletcher

Dave has a wide range of experience in different sectors, having particular expertise in Hotels, Residential, Commercial and Domestic development.  He has worked on new builds and extension and refurbishment schemes.  His skill sets range from multi storey new glazed structures to listed building refurbishments and extensions.  He has received many architectural awards for schemes designed by ADL.  He is constantly driving the company forward, experimenting with new management techniques and marketing opportunities. Dave is also a member of RIBA and has been president of LAWSA and the Rotary Club of Windermere.

His Hobbies include rugby (watching), Golf (walking to the 19th), Rotary (charity fund raising) and socialising (usually at rugby, golf and rotary).

Alastair Firth

Alastair joined ADL in 2003.  During his time with the practice he has worked on numerous projects from feasibility studies and planning applications to running and administering contracts on site.

Outside of work he is involved with local charitable organisations; initially as a member of Windermere, Ambleside and District Round Table and currently as secretary of The Rotary Club of Windermere.

He is big fan of camping and hiking and has recently taken up mountain biking.

Sarika Jhawar

Sarika joined ADL in 2014 as an Architectural Assistant.

She studied architecture in India and came to the UK in 2003 to study International Studies in Vernacular Architecture at Oxford Brookes University.  She went on to work in Hereford where she worked on  listed buildings, domestic extensions and church re-ordering.

In India she worked on community based developmental projects and was awarded third prize for a cyclone resistant design competition. She is now interested in low energy architecture and design.

Interests include cooking ‘authentic’ Indian food for friends and walking in the Lakes.

Cameron Scott

Cameron has recently joined our team after graduating with his Bachelor’s degree from The Robert Gordons University in Aberdeen. He plans to return there to complete his master’s degree after spending the year with ADL. He is mostly interested in the renovation of existing buildings to provide them with a new life or purpose. In his spare time, Cameron enjoys everything outdoors. Especially riding his bike. Cameron feels very privileged to live and work in such a beautiful part of the world.

Clare Travers

Clare joined ADL in 2005 as Administration Manager following many years working in operational management roles within the mail order industry.

She plays a key role in the smooth running of the practice including liaising with clients & planning authorities, co-ordinating information for (and submitting) Planning & Building Regulations applications, developing & maintaining management information systems, HR and Health & Safety. She is ably assisted in these tasks by Jenny.

Outside work Clare enjoys watching motorcycle racing (especially in the Isle of Man), live music events and spending time with family & friends.

Jenny Clayton

Jenny joined ADL in January 2015 after completing her A Levels.

She has since finished her NQV Level 2 in Business Administration with ADL.

Jenny handles the telephone and looks after the social media side of the business.

Jenny assists Clare in preparing and submitting Planning & Building Regulations applications.

She enjoys socialising, and going on adventures with her Springer Spaniel.
